Contract Experience
Success. Each and every day, we develop new insights and approaches to overcome challenges that cross traditional boundaries. We always focus on getting results - every step of the way. Illustrated here are notable past and present projects where we used our strategic viewpoint and applied knowledge to design a best-of-breed solution:
- Boeing/U. S. Air Force. Support development of next generation network architecture for AWACS, E6, the U.S. Government executive fleet to include Air Force One & Two and other commercial aircraft applications. Included design, development and testing of commercial and custom-built hardware/software solutions. Provided engineering support for critical upgrade testing, such as video teleconferencing capabilities for Air Force One.
- Defense Information Systems Agency. Provide engineering analysis and design support for the Global Command Support System (GCSS). Focus is on architecting user performance monitoring of Key Performance Parameters (KPP) as required to maintain congressional funding.
- HQ Central Command (CENTCOM). In support of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom, performed a detailed traffic analysis of the Internet Protocol (IP) path between Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia and the Naval command headquarters in Bahrain. Isolated multiple issues and implemented procedural fixes that resulted in orders of magnitude performance improvements.
- Internal Revenue Service. Sub-contracted to SRA International to support the IRS Project Tool Group. Evaluated network and systems management operations; selected, tested integrated and optimized solutions. Generated network performance reports and advised senior management on critical performance issues.
- Office of Secretary of Defense. Three projects included: 1- Providing architectural, engineering and analysis support to the Planning Tool for Resource Integration, Synchronization and Management (PRISM) program; 2 - Designing and built a hardware & software solution used to notify key personnel of operational system problems on classified networks saving numerous man-hours of support since 24/7 on-site support was no longer required; 3 - Designing hardware solution to allow SNMP Management Data to pass between network enclaves of different security classifications.
- Office of Naval Research. Providing expert system engineering and project management services to support the development of a prototype innovative affordable weapon system; performed requirements analysis, project planning, scheduling, risk management, technical evaluation and test support.
- Office of Naval Intelligence. Reviewed system management procedures for classified applications used in afloat planning operations. Evaluated satellite communications architecture supporting intelligence planning operations aboard the USS Enterprise. Currently developing testing methodology for proposed hardware testing.
- U.S. Bureau of The Census. Sub-contract to Network Designs, Inc. Provided architectural and technical guidance for development & implementation of network management system using HP OpenView NNM & Concord Network Health for the Bureau's Year 2000 Decentennial Network.
